Data sources & licences

Accurail uses open data from the sources below. They are acknowledged here to meet the attribution conditions of the Open Government Licence v3.0 and other licences under which the data is made available.

Hospital and A&E location data

England. Information from the NHS website is licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.

Scotland. Contains data from Public Health Scotland (NHS Scotland Accident & Emergency Sites; Current NHS Hospitals in Scotland), licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.

Wales. Contains data from StatsWales (Welsh Government) and the NHS Organisation Data Service, licensed under the Open Government Licence v3.0.

Postcode and coordinate data

Hospital coordinates are derived from the ONS Postcode Directory:
